Unusual Signs and Unique Menus

During my travels I often came across signs or messages that I found funny. Most often it was a language translation that didn't quite work, sometimes it was a grammar error. I suspect that sometimes it was just my mood at the moment that assisted me in finding something amusing in a simple message. Really. ... to find the Toilet - go backwards and then straight ahead?

As well, some times translations create problems in menus. I'm still wondering about some of these menu items: What are powders?

I wish I had started taking such pictures at the beginning of my trip. Hopefully you will find something to giggle or wonder about in the following pictures?

Markets in Vietnam, Cambodia and China

The markets in other countries have always intrigued me. Even as a child traveling during our summer holidays into the United States we wandered through the supermarkets to see the different cereals, cheeses, etc.  Whether it is a chain store or a small family store or my favorite,  a local market, I always find something that I find interesting.  Often it is the different items for sale, but often it is the different way the items are sold or stored. For example; cartons of milk not refrigerated or eggs not in protective cartons stamped with expiry dates.

The following pictures are from the recent markets I've been too. Some of these pictures have showed up in other locations in my blog. I've collected them here to have them in a common file. Hope you enjoy😆
